The 465th Engineers of Birmingham, Ala., set in concrete their unit’s coin of excellence which represents all the hard work they put into building a simulated aircraft mock door facility that was recently built for paratroopers to train with as part of airborne operations during exercise Allied Spirit II and future exercises at the U.S. Army’s Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany, Aug. 13, 2015. Allied Spirit II is a multinational decisive action training environment exercise that involves over 3,500 Soldiers from both the U.S., allied, and partner nations focused on building partnerships and interoperability between all participating nations and emphasizing mission command, intelligence, sustainment, and fires.
