Marines assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 31 of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, Indonesian service members, and Red Cross employees load a cargo net of supplies from The United States Agency for International Development. The supplies are to be airlifted to remote areas of West Sumatra, Indonesia by CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters from Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 265 (Reinforced). Amphibious Force U.S. 7th Fleet is coordinating U.S. military assistance to victims of the recent earthquakes in West Sumatra, at the request of the Indonesian government.
