Stanley Carpenter, professor and historian for U.S. Naval War College (NWC), provides the history of NWC to students, staff, faculty and guests during a convocation ceremony kicking-off the 2015-2016 school year. During the ceremony, Rear Adm. P. Gardner Howe III, president, NWC, presented Adm. Michael S. Rogers, commander, U.S. Cyber Command, director, National Security Agency, chief, Central Security Service, the 2015 Distinguished Graduate Leadership Award.
