Petty Officer 2nd Class Michael Cox secures the line to a Romeo flag on the signal bridge of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz as a MH-60S Knighthawk helicopter, assigned to the "Wild Cards" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 23, transports supplies from Nimitz to the fast combat support ship USNS Bridge during a vertical replenishment at sea. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is on a routine deployment to the region. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
