Oregon Army National Guard Soldiers with Alpha Battery, 2nd Battalion, 218th Field Artillery Regiment, 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team, prepare to attach an M119A2 Howitzer to a CH-47, F-Model Chinook helicopter during an artillery training mission, Operation Thunderstruck, June 20, 2015, at the Yakima Training Center near Yakima, Wash. The Chinook, on loan from California, was used in the artillery training mission after pilots from Bravo Company, 1-168th Aviation become qualified with the new model configuration.
