San Antonio Aviation Career Education staff and students are given a brief about Pardo’s Push by Maj. Brian Caramello, 560th Flying Training Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas, during a field trip visit of the 560th FTS, July 8, 2014. Pardo's Push was an aviation maneuver carried out by Capt. Bob Pardo in order to move his wingman's badly damaged F-4 Phantom II to friendly air space during the Vietnam War. The ACE Camp offers orientation to the various aviation disciplines for young people ages 14 to 17. Students in the camp explore the many career options available in the aerospace industry. During the visit, students were briefed on possible careers in the U.S. Air Force. (U.S. Air Force photo by Johnny Saldivar/Released)
