GULF OF ADEN (Aug. 22, 2015) U.S. Marine Sgt. Eric Gibbons, right, sorts mail with U.S. Sailors aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23) during a replenishment-at-sea. Gibbons is a radio operator with 1st Radio Battalion Detachment, Command Element, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. Elements of the 15th MEU are embarked aboard the Anchorage, which is part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, and are deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
