Joshua Wurdeman, 29 of Columbus, Ohio, assigned to Charlie Company, 3rd Brigade, 8th Cavalry, 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, digs into his dinner plate, at Joint Service Station Tal Abdah, south of Mosul, Iraq, Oct. 14. Living accomodations at JSS Tal Abdah are at a bare minimum, but Soldiers who are there for a week at a time still receive two hot meals a day.
