Soldiers assigned to Task Force First Round, out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., climb up a steep hill prior to conducting fire suppression techniques in the Colville National Forest, Wash., Aug. 26, 2015. The 20-Soldier crew helped wildland firefighters conduct a burnout, which is a self-initiated fire that burns a selected area of the forest in hopes of slowing down the true wildfire.
