A U.S. Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal Soldier, from the Alabama National Guard, attempts to disarm an improvised explosive device created by a Swiss EOD soldier during a joint training exercise with Kosovo police and Kosovo force soldiers, Aug. 26, 2015, at the KP IED Disposal Training Center in Pristina, Kosovo. KFOR soldiers from Switzerland, Ukraine, Germany, Austria and the U.S. participated in the exercise, the first of its kind, in order to share their expertise. Each country created a real-life IED problem for the other multinational forces to solve. (U.S. Army photo by Lt. Col. Gilbert Buentello, Multinational Battle Group-East)
