Ted Frederick, Utah Military Affairs director, presents a welcome letter from Utah Gov. Gary R. Herbert to Brig. Gen. Steven J. Bleymaier, incoming Ogden Air Logistics Complex commander, during the Ogden ALC change of command ceremony at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, Aug. 31. The ceremony took place at the Hill Aerospace Museum before a crowd of Airmen, civilians, community partners, and state dignitaries. A change of command is a military tradition that signifies formal transfer of authority and responsibility for a unit from one commanding officer to another.
