Sarah Bailey, PMO staff and a Perry, New York, native, volunteers with Justin Ka‘ahanui, a PMO officer and a London, England native, at the foot of the 14-foot scaffold at Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center, Thursday, Aug. 27, for the annual fundraiser Cop on Top. All proceeds raised would benefit Special Olympics Hawaii to provide year-round sports training and competition opportunities to more than 3,900 athletes across the state each year. Participating in events like Cop on Top help support the overall mission of the Marine Corps Base Hawaii, which is to support individuals and families aboard MCB Hawaii.
