    Coast Guard, NOAA transports two rehabilitated Hawaiian monk seals to Oahu

    Petty Officer 2nd Class Garth Booye, an aviation maintenance technician at Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point, ensures a carrier transporting two rehabilitated Hawaiian monk seals is properly secured in an HC-130 Hercules airplane Sept. 3, 2015. Coast Guard crews, working with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration transported the seals from the Big Island to Oahu for future release back to the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.
