Participants in the Chief Petty Officer Pride Day, sponsored by the Pentagon Area Chief Petty Officer Association, gather silently at the grave of CPO Richard Costelow in Section 60 of Arlington National Cemetery Sept. 4, 2015. At the graves, a participant spoke about each CPO’s life, family and notable actions, then placed roses and a challenge coin.
