The girls were Level 3 athletes with the highest all-round points for the floor exercise, uneven bars, balance beam and vault events. They were awarded medals and trophies. The first-place winner was Ashley Cruz, 11, and a K-Bay Gymnastics athlete. The meet kicked off the first competition for the USA Gymnastics Competitions in Hawaii. K-Bay Gymnastics is part of Marine Corps Community Services Hawaii, an organization which aims to contribute to the readiness and retention of Marines, Sailors and family members aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii by providing fitness and recreation programs, Marine and family programs and business activities in garrison and deployed environments.
