ARABIAN GULF (Sept. 3, 2015) U.S. Marine Cpl. Christopher Hamilton, left, and Cpl. Heath Gentle work on an MV-22B Osprey aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Hamilton is a flightline mechanic and Gentle is a collateral duty quality assurance representative with Medium Marine Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. These Marines work on and inspect the aircraft, ensuring they are ready to fly. The 15th MEU is embarked aboard the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
