Soldiers from 802nd Ordnance Company, a U.S. Army Reserve unit from Gainesville, Ga., assigned to Army Field Support Brigade’s AFSBn-Afghanistan’s Logistics Task Force Kandahar primary mission was to conduct ammo abatement inspections on all vehicles that were processed by the LTF’s Redistribution Property Assistance Team to ensure they are free of ammunition, brass and links before being retrograded or turned over to the Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services.
