Iraqi schoolchildren from Baghara Elementary School in Hawijah, Kirkuk province, Iraq, smile excitedly after receiving school supplies during a school supply delivery by 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Oct. 18. The supplies were provided by J.E. Ober Elementary School students in Garrett, Ind., after Staff Sgt. Jared Wiegand, a Fort Wayne, Ind. native with 1st Bn., 8th Cav Regt., visited the school last March, where his sister-in-law teaches.
