150901-N-VC236-112 GULF OF ADEN (Sept. 1, 2015) - Sailors prepare empty pallets for transport aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99) during a vertical replenishment with the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE 7). Farragut is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations as part of Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
