Capt. Chase Bradford and Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force members discuss safety plans for live fire ranges before Forest Light 16-1 begins at Camp Imazu, Takashima, Japan, Sept. 5, 2015. The JGSDF and U.S. Marines worked together to make a plan to keep the ranges safe while maximizing realism and proficiency during the exercise. The JGSDF members are from the 50th Infantry Regiment, 14th Brigade. Bradford is from Natchez, Mississippi and the commanding officer of Co.
