Ten Sailors from U.S. 7th Fleet and the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) received their anchors during the chief petty officers' pinning ceremony, a time-honored naval tradition. Blue Ridge is moored at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka for regular scheduled maintenance, which allows the ship to undertake future patrols, ensuring the safety and security of Pacific sea lanes.
