First Lt. Rawand Jawad, an investigative officer at the Criminal Forensics Lab in Erbil, shows how to use a new piece of equipment in the ballistics testing lab during a tour of the facility for a group of 18 judges and lawyers Oct. 27. This was the first time many of the people in the group had seen this new equipment, and investigators here hope it will help them to better understand it.
