CHARLESTOWN, Mass. (Sept. 16, 2015) 74th Commanding Officer of USS Constitution, Cmdr. Robert Gerosa, shakes the hand of retired Navy Lt. Thomas Rolland Norris who received the Medal of Honor for his ground rescue of two downed pilots in Quang Tri Province as a part of the Congressional Medal of Honor Society's annual convention which is being hosted in Boston for the third time, and will be attended by more than half the living recipients. As a token of appreciation, the crew of Old Ironsides handcrafted gifts made with wood, which was once part of the ship, and copper taken from her hull.
