Sgt. Benjamin Petty, a commercial vendor pay auditor and a Lancaster, Calif., native, with Detachment A, 125th Financial Management Company, 96th Special Troops Battalion, 96th Sustainment Brigade, is seen accepting his re-enlistment contract from 1st Lt. Charryse M. Bass, executive officer of the 208th Financial Management Company and a Brooklyn, N.Y., native. Petty re-enlisted Oct. 9, for four years and has accepted stabilization at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, and he received a bonus. He stated that he plans on going to the promotion board for staff sergeant, completing 30 credit hours of college to complete his associate's degree and applying for the Officer Candidate School after he returns from this deployment.
