U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Rob Black, 97th Civil Engineer Squadron structural journeyman, cuts out the corner piece of a soffit during construction of a new entomology facility, Sept. 21, 2015. The soffit is applied to the underside of the structures’ roof to enclose the area between the roof overhang and the side of the building and helps to protect the structure from external elements. This project allows the 97th CES airmen to get hands-on training they might not get during normal daily operations. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Megan E. Acs/Released)
