Marines and Sailors, along with family members and loved ones gathered to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Field Medical Training Battalion West aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Sept. 18, 2015. The battalion opened its doors in the fall of 1950 and has trained young Sailors on life-saving techniques utilized on battlefields throughout history.
