150918-N-VR008-016 SAN DIEGO (Sept. 18, 2015) –Seaman Apprentice Lacey Kreko, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), hauls in the messenger line after completing an underway replenishment station inspection in the hangar bay. America is currently undergoing a Post-Shakedown Availability (PSA) in which the ship’s crew and assigned contractors make improvements to the ship’s design.
