150918-N-VR008-016 SAN DIEGO (Sept. 18, 2015) –Seaman Apprentice Lacey Kreko, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), hauls in the messenger line after completing an underway replenishment station inspection in the hangar bay. America is currently undergoing a Post-Shakedown Availability (PSA) in which the ship’s crew and assigned contractors make improvements to the ship’s design. America’s PSA will pave the way for future America-class amphibious assault ships. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist Seaman Kyle Goldberg/Released)
