U.S. Army Sgt. Steven Oser, a paratrooper assigned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade, wraps up his parachute after jumping into Houtdorperveld Drop Zone, the Netherlands, Sept. 18, 2015, as part of a combined airborne operation for the 71st anniversary of Operation Market Garden. The jump included troops from the U.S., Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and the U.K. and was on the same drop zone featured in the film “A Bridge Too Far.” The commemoration brought together approximately 1,000 allied paratroopers from the seven NATO nations for several days of combined airborne operations and ceremonies. Market Garden was the largest airborne operation in history, taking place from Sept. 17-25, 1944. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Daniel Cole, U.S. Army Europe Public Affairs)
