The LOGCAP contract partner converts used cooking oil from dining facilities at Bagram Air Field and Forward Operating Base Fenty and Dahlke into biodiesel that is used as a supplemental fuel source for solid waste incinerators. The contractor began reclaiming used cooking oil from dining facilities on Bagram Air Field and two forward operation bases in a process that is projected to result in cost avoidance of as much as $750,000 per year.
