A New York Fire Department boat sprays water as the USS New York passes her. Marines from Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 26 and sailors from USS New York watched the Statue of Liberty, a symbol of the Nation's strength, as USS New York passes by. The ship, which has 7 1/2 tons of steel salvaged from the World Trade Center forged in its hull, is scheduled to be commissioned on Nov. 7.
