U.S. Marines and British Royal Commandos train together in the first phase of security forces training in New Castle Upon Tyne, England, Sept. 21-25, 2015. Training included various breaching techniques, close-quarters battle, live-fire ranges, training simulators with various military and the state-of-the-art training facility in Gateshead with the Northumbria Police Department. The Marines and sailors assigned to Marine Security Forces trained for approximately two weeks in Scotland and northern England to refine tactics and built upon the long military history between the two countries.
