ARABIAN GULF (Sept. 28, 2015) An AV-8B Harrier with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, lands aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). The 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, embarked aboard the ships of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
