Land (AS 39), plays fetch with a dog from Guam Animals In Need (GAIN) animal shelter. Emory S. Land Sailors visited GAIN as part of a community relations mission to help bolster ties to the local community. Emory S. Land is a forward deployed expeditionary submarine tender on an extended deployment conducting coordinated tended mooring and afloat maintenance in the U.S. 5th and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility.
