Soldiers from 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, through the use of an interpreter, give a class on proper sight picture to role-players from Bangara—a fictitious country from West Africa who have been hosting the unit during a resident training course on Fort Polk, La. ‘Spartan’ Brigade will be supporting U.S. Africa Command whose mission is to become partners, build sustainable capacity, and support joint forces in order to disrupt transnational threats and promote regional stability in Africa.
