An Iraqi Federal Police officer, part of an Iraqi commander's personal security detachment, keeps guard, while U.S. Soldiers, assigned to 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, and Soldiers with the 3rd Federal Police Transition Team, work in conjunction with Iraqi Federal Police officers during a cordon and search mission at a farm house on the outskirts of Mosul, Iraq, Nov. 5, 2009. The area was suspected of being used as a vehicle borne explosive device factory.
