Members of the New York Fire Department, Ladder 35, display the flags of the United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy alongside their own personal flag during a special visitation aboard the USS New York for first responders and 9/11 victims' families, Nov. 3. There are seven-and-a-half tons of steel salvaged from the World Trade Center forged into the ship's hull. The Marines at the event are part of SPMAGTF-26, a unit formed to support the commissioning of the USS New York, Nov. 7.
