Service members, veterans and civilians gather at the Tripler Fisher House during a volunteer appreciation event Sept. 25, at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. The Fisher House Foundation is best known for its network of comfort homes where military and veteran’s families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving medical treatment at major military and VA medical facilities.
