Republic of Korea Marine Lt. Col. Hogeun Yoo meets U.S. Navy Lt. Rick O. Tiff during a community relations event during Korean Marine Exchange Program 15-12 at Chung Ryong, Republic of Korea, Sept. 11, 2015. The Marines and Sailors volunteered in a community relations event doing various farming activities. KMEP 15-12 is a bilateral training exercise that enhances the ROK and U.S. alliance, promotes stability on the Korean Peninsula and strengthens ROK and U.S. military capabilities and interoperability. Tiff, from Pasadena, California, is the chaplain for 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Yoo, from Kangwondo, Republic of Korea, is the battalion commander of 11th Battalion, 1st Regiment, 2nd Marine Division.
