Larry Lorenz, a traffic manager with the 16th Sustainment Brigade, discusses the importance of following proper cargo procedures of blocking, bracing, packing, crating of all equipment during the Unit Movement Officer Symposium, Sept 15, 2015. The symposium served as refresher training for all Unit Movement Officers throughout the U.S. Army Europe. The purpose of the four-day symposium was to familiarize all UMOs with proper rules and regulations for preparing cargo and equipment prior to shipping through Ramstein Air Base.
