A New York Air National Guard pararescue jumper works on a simulated patient during a casualty drill conducted at F.S. Gabreski Air National Guard Base, at Westhampton Beach, N.Y., on Aug. 25, 2015. The drill was conducted so that members of the 103rd Rescue Squadron, a part of the 106th Rescue Wing, could evaluate technology designed to help them monitor patients in the field. The computer notebook being used as part of the system can be seen on the patient's chest. The technology is being developed as part of the Air Force BATMAN program which seeks to put useful, wearable computer systems into the hands of warfighters.
