151005-N-RU841-005 SAN FRANCISCO (Oct. 5, 2015) – Capt. Leonard Reed, commanding officer of USS Somerset (LPD 25), issues the oath of enlistment to a group of future Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsman, aboard Somerset as a part of San Francisco Fleet Week. Somerset hosted players from the San Francisco 49ers who gave a football demonstration while signing autographs and taking pictures with fans, gave ship tours, provided the opportunity for future service members to take the oath of enlistment, followed by a Marine Corps promotion ceremony.
