DVESELU, Romania (Oct. 2, 2015) – Students from Deveselu Elementary School listen as a Sailor from Naval Support Facility (NSF) Deveselu reads "The Cat in the Hat" aloud to the class, Oct. 2. Sailors from NSF Deveselu read books to three different classes as part of a community service project aimed at promoting literacy. The book reading also allowed the students to practice their English language skills; it also presented an opportunity for the students to teach the Sailors some words in Romanian. NSF Deveselu Sailors have an ongoing relationship with the school and participate in various community service projects regularly. NSF Deveselu is home to the Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System, which is part of Phase II of the European Phased Adaptive Approach to ballistic missile defense in Europe. (U.S. Navy Photo by Lt.
