The event is intended to showcase the abilities of working dogs that assist us in search and rescue, explosive detection, and improve the everyday lives of their humans. San Francisco Fleet Week, now in its 35th year, celebrates the rich naval tradition in the Bay area, honors our nation's service members, and facilitates annual disaster preparedness training between the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and local first responders.
