The master of the 28-foot sailing vessel Hula Hoop stands at the dock in Port Allen following a rescue at sea where a Coast Guard HC-130 Hercules aircrew located the vessel and vectored in a Coast Guard Station Kauai 45-foot Response Boat-Medium to tow the vessel Oct. 10, 2015. The mariner aboard the vessel was adrift for five days after losing his mast in a storm and was able to contact the Coast Guard once he'd drifted close enough to land.
