Mitchell O. Brush, the senior enlisted adviser for the National Guard Bureau, on the repair work done by the Guard at the riverfront canal in Columbia, S.C., Oct. 14, 2015. The South Carolina National Guard has been activated to support state and county emergency management agencies and local first responders as historic flooding impacted counties statewide.
