Nora Tyson, commander of U.S. 3rd Fleet, cuts a cake with Intelligence Specialist Seaman Mallory Muzzalupo during the celebration of the U.S. Navy's 240th birthday at the U.S. 3rd Fleet headquarters. Tyson gave remarks that emphasized how it is Sailors who create and preserve the Navy's history and heritage. U.S. 3rd Fleet leads naval forces in the Eastern Pacific from the West Coast of North America to the international date line and provides the realistic, relevant training necessary for an effective global Navy.
