ARABIAN GULF (October 08, 2015) – Lt. Cmdr. Grant Bryan, chief engineer, facilitates a tour of a main engine room to Vice Adm. Kevin Donegan, Commander, Naval Forces Central Command, aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60) during a distinguished visit. Normandy is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations as part of Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
