2nd Class Dave Friedman, Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician, a member of Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines, passes out a block of C4 high explosive to a student during an Improvised Explosive Device awareness course. Taught jointly by the Philippine National Police and JSOTF-P, the three day course covered many aspects of IED training including proper detection, response and police coordination.
