During the visit, Abe and other Japanese dignitaries met with senior U.S. Navy representatives including Vice Adm. Nora Tyson, commander, U.S. 3rd Fleet, Rear Adm. Matthew Carter, commander, U.S. Naval Forces Japan, Rear Adm. John Alexander, commander, Battle Force 7th Fleet, and Capt. Chris Bolt, Ronald Reagan's commanding officer.
