Marines, sailors, family and friends bow their heads in prayer during a memorial service Oct. 16, 2015, aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C. The memorial service was held for 14 Marines and one sailor who passed away 30 years ago, on Oct. 15, 1985, in a CH-46D Sea Knight incident. The Sea Knight belonged to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 263 and was transporting Marines with Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, during training in preparation for their deployment with the 26th Marine Amphibious Unit.
